Yes, that Office Space Chotchkie's

Benable is part Pinterest board, part affiliate marketing store.

It's free to use with an invitation. (Consider yourself invited!)

It's quite easy to create attractive lists centered around mostly whatever you want, and make money from them.

Here are my Benable lists.

Benable is upfront about what makes a good list.

Benable flat-out tells you where lists need work, and how to fix them.

It's refreshing, actually. With other websites and services, the path to success seems deliberately obscured:

“We don't approve your site. Here's everything and anything we deem important. Fix your site, but we won't tell you what's wrong.”

(Know any services like that?)

There's a magic minimum number of items in a list.

I had one list with twelve items. I got an email every time someone viewed the list. It was a few per week.

Then Benable nudged me to up that number to fifteen.

I did so. And I was treated with a “List Optimized!” badge. This, they tell me, increases exposure of the list both on Benable and in the search engines.

Then I created another list, with fifteen items. It also got a List Optimized! badge.

Just like Chotchkie's flair.

Fifteen items in the list is the minimum.

More is better, of course! Some lists on similar topics I checked out had over 60 items.

But fifteen will keep me from getting fired.
